✔ Have you ever had to request more capital from investors?
Fees impact your returns, so understand them upfront. Ask:
✔ Are there acquisition, asset management, or exit fees?
✔ How does the sponsor make money?
✔ Are the fees fair and transparent?
Know how and when you’ll get your money back. Ask:
✔ How long do you plan to hold the property?
✔ What is your plan for selling or refinancing?
✔ How do market conditions affect your exit plan?
A strong sponsor provides regular updates and transparency. Ask:
✔ How often do you send reports?
✔ Will I receive financial updates and performance reviews?
✔ How can I contact you if I have questions?
